The national September 11th memorial is now open to the public, 10 years and a day after the attacks happened. The memorial originaly opened on sunday September 11 but only to the family of the ones lost, and the people attending the commemoration service at ground zero. two open cubes in the ground where the towers stood before, nearly an acre in size.
